Making it in Crafts: A National Invitational

I’m still pinching myself.  I was invited to participate in this exhibit at the Art museum of Greater Lafayette, IN.  Here is what they have to say about the exhibit, ” This is a fabulous collection of work that celebrates the imagination by showcasing splendid crafts from invited, nationally renowned artisans.  The works are creative and innovate in form and materials, including, glass, metal, fiber, wood and clay.  These objects were chosen because they delight the eye and satisfy the soul.  We sought uncommon beauty and good design in common objects.  All works will be for sale”. I’m still a bit stunned.  The exhibit runs through September 8, 2011, located at 102 South Tenth Street, Lafayette, IN.  If you are in the area I would encourage you to take it in.  Selections of my Hand Marbled Fabrics are on display.

  1. Congratulations Suz!
Your talent with fiber arts does not surprise me, but your success in getting it “out there” is a testament to your hard work! I hope you also get to go to Indiana for the show?? The weather will probably stink, but the show will be great. Again, congrats on being selected! Robin
