These gorgeous little handbags were made by Andi Shannon using the Silk Cotton Blend fabric that I sell on my web site. It is the yummiest fabric. You get the workability of Cotton but the luster and shine of Silk. It is easy to work with and will take a lot of Thread Play/Free Motion Quilting. The photos just don’t capture the true lok and feel of this fabric, it’s one you really must touch. The Apple Silk Clutch is about six inches square, using contrasting stripes of fabric. San Francisco Hand Bag is about four and one half inches tall and has contrasting free motion quilting. You can find more of Andi’s creations on her website at www.andishannon.com
This amazing Mum was created by Geri Richardson of Grannie G Applique using my hand marbled fabric. I first met Geri several years ago at a quilt show in Spokane, WA and I ran into her this Fall in Portland , OR. She sent me this photo of her creation and I sent her some fabric as she planed to make up some kits that include my hand marbled fabric in Fire or Sunshine Yellow.
